UCLA computer science professor Judea Pearl was honored March 12, 2010 at an all-day workshop celebrating his influential contributions in artificial intelligence and related sciences.

At the event, Pearl was presented with a Festschrift entitled "Heuristic, Probability and Causality: A Tribute to Judea Pearl" (http://bayes.cs.ucla.edu/TRIBUTE/pear...). Nearly 20 contributors to the book delivered lectures at the symposium. This video records the lecture by Professor David Poole who spoke about "Probabilstic Programming Languages: Independent Choices and Deterministic Systems."
