@fortgreene31 The XA-10 would be better. It is like the JVC camera's where the snapshot creates a widescreen picture in the same resolution as what u r recording in. The 60D is great for pictures but the video is grainier and the steadyshot cant me turned off fully so u have vignetting bounce depending on the lenses you use. Yeah,u spend $1k more but its worth it.Plus,u have a built in memory

this is a wonder canon. Wish one is better a canon xa10 or a canon 60d eos. I need a canon good for taking pictures and videos. Please anyone could help me out on this one before i head to B&H to get one of these bad boys. Nice video peace

I think it's a great camcorder. but for nearly half the price of the next model up you can't expect it to perform like a top of the line pro in all areas.
