Thank you for your videos. I was wondering if you have any advice on how to vacuum seal in either the plastic bags or mylar bags for milk powder, sugar, baking powder/soda, flour etc without them being sucked up into the vacuum machine breaking it. I was thinking about putting the original packaging inside the vacuum bag or mylar first then vacuuming. But some products here come in cardboard or plastic containers so I would have to empty them out into either vacuum sealer bags or mylar. Thanks

@misscpb Put the powder product in a paper bag first then down in a vacuum bag. The paper will allow the air to be removed but the powder stays in the bag. No more powder on the seal line and it vacuum much tighter allowing the machine to do the best job it can. We have a video of it being done with a Vacupack Elite here on Youtube check out the rest of our videos for an exapmple. Thanks

Well I have to admit the VacUpack is a great unit. After all if something is on the market for over 25 years and is still a top contender, how could one speak badly of it? I believe I read over 2 million of these have sold in 25 years! Obviously a tried and true unit with a very long history of success! This speaks highly of my friends at PMG the leaders in the Vacuum Packing Industry. 800-227-3769 My hat is off to you! SealersDave!

This machine rocks! A bit "old school" but well worth the money spent. I was shocked how much better it was than my Foodsaver. It really is incredible how much tighter it seals, both on jars and bags. And wet products are a breeze no more worry about water getting into the machine. Thank you so glad I found this unit!!!
