Madonna has obviously not understood what the song is about, I always thought that the English couls understand englich lyrics. But this is apparently not so. She has probably helped to make the music die.

People just starting out in the industry sing other peoples songs, as they dont have any of their own yet. But when a person has proven themselves, its different.
Madonna has reached legendary status. At that point, she can sing anything she likes.
