Daniel Dae Kim of TV's "Lost" speaks to members of the Asian American community, in Virginia and throughout the U.S. This 2-minute response to former Sen. George Allen's infamous "macaca moment" seemed to predict that Asian Americans would cast the decisive votes in the Virginia Senate election. He turned out to be right.

yeh. most of asian actors seem to have stereopypic role of not being able to speak proper english on tv while they are in fact born and raised in the states. this kind of racial prejudice is everywhere. Asian Americans are generally known as nerdy hard-working highly-educated people and hispanic actors are mostly described as deceitful criminals or illigal immigrants.
i wont go that far... thats like an 70s 80s thought... theyre so mixed now that there is not american race... still ... when they say asian they dont think that indiasn n russian are also asians... n think in chinese japanese... still.. latinos are still the same..
yeh, maybe it's because east asian immigrants are much more common in america, and a close link between America and East Asia, both historically and economically, has made it solid. On the other hand, in Britain, who has a close historic relationship with India, Asians are generally implied as Indians or Pakistanis. A term 'oriental' is used to describe east asians in Britain whereas it is legally considered as a racist remark in America.
Yes, he looks much better than Jack :) If I compare him (Jim) to for example Merilyn Manson (who looks chubby, wrinkled => old) I wouldn't believe these two guys are in the same age. I personally think Asians looks much younger than Europeans.
I agree. But Asian looks just about their age but Euro-ancestry tend to look a lot older after they turned 30. I personally think though Jack looks quiet young at this age. He looks like someone who is in his early 30's.
