Daniel Dae Kim of TV's "Lost" speaks to members of the Asian American community, in Virginia and throughout the U.S. This 2-minute response to former Sen. George Allen's infamous "macaca moment" seemed to predict that Asian Americans would cast the decisive votes in the Virginia Senate election. He turned out to be right.

  • Daniel Dae Kim is a true American. Rare is it that you see a person so eloquently defend someone of another group. Injustice and intolerance anywhere affects us all. This is one of the best videos to ever grace YouTube.

  • @Guts01

    Quite well, actually.

  • @Guts01 Take it one farther... how do Korean [minorities] in the US treat Japanese [minorities] in the US.

The answer is "not well" and it goes both ways.

  • This cracks me up... Kim's claiming to be a Virginia resident at the same time as he's claiming to be a Hawaii resident... "True American" my ass.

  • @Guts01 We're not dealing with Korea here. We're dealing with America. Many individuals of the minority identify more as being Americans rather than their ethnic group's nationality. Why? Simply because America is where we grew up. America is Mr. Kim's primary concern America is his home.
