Q and A with Ralph Nader after his talk at the Hillside Club in Berkeley, CA on October 1, 2011.
Nader talks about the Occupy Wall Street protests, Gandhi's 'Seven Deadly Sins', media reform, his presidential candidacy and how we need to continue fighting for change.

@susu666 im coming from view of someone who doesn’t want to compete, period. the already existing system isn’t going to work, so.... ;) end money. it's time. I dont see the protestors of ‘occupywallst’ getting paid. They arent utilising their brain power well in terms of getting anything done. but itll draw attn of those that can offer more direction. people still unfortunately wait for someone to do that for them. hopefully they will eventually become more personally empowered as we evolve.

@zeldaideal it's not 'the' answer but if we want to compete within the already existing system it's a good idea. Money is needed regardless of how you slice it, people need to be paid f something for running a political movement.

The hardest part is getting people to care and act on that. It's almost impossible in the United States of Lazy

We find these things to be self-evident: The peace for which you want to live, in your daily life, must be the foundation for which the peace you have to give-- respect with self-respect.
