IN THE PAPERS: Barack Obama says the US must take responsibility for the crisis but indirectly says Europe needs to do more to stimulate the economy. President Sarkozy has given a speech to justify his position on the economy. Its rubbished by Liberation which reveals that a subsidiary of Credit Agricole has made redundancies while guaranteeing bonuses..

  • personnellement , je pense que les tensions entre les states et l'europe vont s'emplifier : le fer de lance .... cette connerie de crise economique créer de toute pièce par les américains (faut il le rapeller ) , la culture ogm , la russie , et toutes saloperies ki viennent de l'autre coté de l'atlantique .

  • thacher was buying coal from europe that was subsidised by their gov between 65 n 70 a ton while british miners wher Not subsidised a penny she then said its madness to buy for Britain if we can get it cheper elsewere forgetting of course to mention their miners were subsidisaed ours NOT she told athlets Not to go to the Moscow olympics while she was using Russian ships to ferry the coal from europe with her sole reason to break the miners n their comunity whatever the cost

  • Europe is going to go through much more difficult times than the USA, we are far less flexible; I would bet on this if I could. We can make a friendly bet if you like... but really don't have too much faith in Europe, we are too divided with with our opinions on everything and labour unions have far too much power here.
