  • Why do they have PA speakers at these events ?Organisers-we cant hear jack shit .Give up.Its like trying to have a conversation at a Steel Foundry .Nice vid=o tho

  • I guess that some people know what all the aircraft are and just enjoy the sight and sound of them, especially at this show with several restored aircraft and engines (rotary engines etc), but probably the majority need to be told about the planes, their history, and what i happening etc.

  • they should make more wwl planes i fined them to be very pretty compared to newer ones

  • At this years airshow there were several WW1 aircraft, and several more being restored.

this years show included a restored BE2 and Avro 504K. Plus two Fokker DR1's and a D7, Sopwith camel, Neiuport 11and others.

  • A brilliant bit of inspiration building the DH5, rather than building squadrons of Dr1's & SE5's, nice to see something a bit more unusual

  • Looks like they have the AC parachutes instaled if so good Idea

  • Where is this?

  • @Kahu1958 Are those actually restored aircraft, or new ones made to original specifications? Since there is a company that makes DH2's according to original specs, seems to me that would be the better way to go. Same history lesson and you likely don't have your 95 year old wood plane fall apart at 12,000 feet.

  • De Havilland fighter planes. Awsom

  • I see. It is a Radial engine, which does not rotate, not a Rotary engine as many planes of that era had where the cylinders rotated.
