@guitarslinger48 You're sniping at the wrong comment. Wordwiz38 was responding to someone else that said she was that said she was a body. Read the whole comment, and look a couple of comments below it.

@67bandit67 Nuff said? Not really. Read the rest of the comments. Just because you were either not born or had your head in the sand at the time, doesn't mean she's a nobody. It was HER that Joan Jett emulated, and because of her that she and the rest of the Runaways had a career. Consider yourself educated. ;-p 'Nuff said. Now.

They're both fucking great.

The strange cosmic bridge between Suzi Quatro and Joan Jett is The Arrows. The Arrows toured a lot with Suzi in the mid 70s as her support act, and Joan covered the Arrows song "I Love Rock N Roll" years later- A song the Arrows played many times as opening act for Suzi Quatro in 1975.

@wordwiz38 She's nobody. Just because she did it first before Joan Jett, Pat Benetar, Chrissy Hynde. Just because all three have said she influenced them. You must not be old enough to remember. Yeah that's it.

she may copied her style but joann is the legend :)

I was upset when Joan once mentioned her inspirations, later on in her career, and didn't mention Suzi, even though early interviews and even on an album somewhere, she mentioned Suzi as her first inspiration to form The Runaways. Just one of those things, I guess.
joan jett said millions of times that suzi quatro was her hero since she was a preteen << and I think that she was her girl crush too :Pand she said that she got suzi's hair cut and black leather jacket and asked for a guitar at Christmas to be just like her
unfortunately we don't have this kind of rule models nowadays :(
and they both rock and been an inspiration for all the girls
