One of the most heartwarming commercials I've ever seen.

Public Service Announcement from Norway Encouraging Gay Teens to Accept Themselves. The Norwegain text at the end reportedly says, "You don't have to act tough" or "You don't have to be so brave." Both of which presumably mean that since it is okay to be gay, you don't have to tell yourself it's too risky to ask another guy to dance.

  • I'm sure you follow all of that. I'm sure you also understand that you are reading a mistranslated version of the bible. The old testament was originally written in hebrew/aramaic. It was then translated to Greek and the new testament was written in Greek. It eventually became translated into Latin all the way down to English. Words in Greek and so forth were non existent in other languages so translators would often insert their own words.

  • Funny these passages from Leviticus are also true: prohibition against wearing clothes woven of two kinds of material (Lev. 19:19). Don't touch a pig thus don't play football (Lev. 11:8). Don't eat shellfish (Lev. 11:9-12). Don't touch a women during her period (Lev. 15:19).

  • That is sweet. I sure hope he accepted and dropped that conceited skank girl.

  • @T2A0F11 "The birth-order effect on sexual orientation is not found among women with older sisters, women who were womb-mates of twin brothers, and men who are not right handed."

I still don't understand the right-handed left-handed thing but it might have to do with if you use one side of your brain more you may be more prone to homosexuality. This was an actual study, and is not ALWAYS true, but MOST OF THE TIME it is true, and it's not a choice.

  • @T2A0F11 "Blanchard suspects a defnsive maternal immune response to foreign sebstances produced by male fetuses. With each pregnancy with a male fetus, the maternal antibodies may become stronger and may prevent the fetus' brain from developing in a male-typical patters. Consistent with this biological explination, the fraternal birth-order effect occurs only in men with older brothers born to the same mother. Sexual orientation is unaffected by adoptive brothers."

  • @T2A0F11 I'm quoting this from my College Phychology book "Men who also have older brothers are more likely to be gay, report Ray Blanchard (1997,2003) and Anthony Bogaert (2003) - about one third more likely for each aditonal older brother. If the odds of homosexuality are roughly 2 percent among first sons, they would rise to nearly 3 percent among second sons, 4 percent for third sons, and so on for each additional older brother."

  • @RoseWrackspurt okay, people do studies all the time. Just because they did a study on it, doesn't mean it's proven that it's with the brain and their hormones. I dont understand how it can just be with guys who have multiple older brothers and not with girls who have multiple older sisters also. i mean how does that even make sense?!

& can you really say you were born that way? I mean it's not a disease like Sickle Cell that you're born with.

  • @T2A0F11 Actually it isn't a choice, it has something to do with your brian and how much hormones and whatnot you get into your body, the was actually a study done and lets say your a boy and have a lot of older brothers (or only one or two) you have a higher chance of being gay.

I don't think that applys to girls, but it's still just gentetics (sp?), you are born that way.

  • Fuck the bible.

Fuck who you want (as long as they're willing and old enough to decide for themselves), man or woman.
