Well, wether you do them "correctly" or not, its good. Looks like you enjoy it too. ;)

Hey! That's me! Thanks for all the compliments, even if I'm not sure they are deserved! I only know a few basic steps and don't think I do those correctly. However, it is fun trying, and I had a great time at the bluegrass jam!

Great tune! Black Mountain Rag. Just learned it on fiddle. Now if I could learn to clog like that. Wow! That's entertainment!

Well, I'm just an amateur with a little Kodak camera, so I make do. Like you, I wish it could be closer, but still, hope it captures some of the 'flavor' of the surroundings as well as the sound and action of this lively performance!

I can *fake* clogging and largely fake fiddle at the same time, but this woman here really knows what she's doing with her feet and with her fiddle. (I've attached my video, which I'll do only for a short time, for a comparison -- please don't be too hard on me!)
This jam looks like a fun one. Thanks PLB!

Looks and sounds pretty good for 'faking'! You can leave the video attached as long as you wish. I'm sure viewers will enjoy it, along with mine.
By the way, I seem to recognize this fiddle tune as one I know from singing Sacred Harp. I can't name it, but some of the words are 'O, had I wings, I would fly away and be at rest, and I'd praise God in his bright abode.' Wonder if anyone else recognizes this Sacred Harp song and could supply the title?

Anyone that can be breakin down on a fiddle, go over to a plywood board & kick out some flat-footing like that, would still ANY show.

By the way, she sings too. Check out my video of the same group, 'Corn Bread and Butter Beans,' and you can see that side of her talents as well!

It does capture it for sure. I can see myself right there watching her dance. Looks like she's having the time of her life.

She sure does! And then she takes up her fiddle, not missing a beat or stopping to catch her breath, and throws herself into playing the music. 'Fit as a fiddle' takes on more meaning! The whole group of musicians were really good, but I think she stole the show!
