د پښتو فلمونو مشهور او وتلى اداکار بدر منير د خالي په ورځ (د اکتوبر په يوولسمه) سهار وختي د لاهور په اتفاق روغتون کې د اته شپېتو کالو په عمر کې مړ شو. هغه د تېرو څلورو کالو راهيسې ناروغه و او وخت په وخت به روغتون ته وړل کېده. په وروستي ځل دوه ورځې وړاندې په روغتون کې بستر شوى و.
ښاغلى بدر منير چې د پښتونخوا د سوات د سيمې اوسېدونکى و د ځوانۍ په ورځو کې يې د کراچۍ په ښار کې رکشه چلوله خو له هغه ځايه لاهور ته لاړو او د هغې زمانې د اردو د فلمونو د ياد اداکار او چاکلېټي هيرو وحيد مراد په دفتر کې يې کار پېل کړ. له همدغه ځايه هغه د پښتو په لومړني فلم ((يوسف خان شېربانو)) کې واخيستل شو او بيا يې قريباً پنځه دېرش کاله د پښتو په فلمي نړۍ بادشاهي وکړه.
بدرمنير د لومړي ځل لپاره په نولس سوه اويا کال کې په ((يوسف خان شېربانو) فلم کې راښکاره شو او د مرګ تر وخته پورې يې په شاوخوا شپږ سوه او پنځوسو پښتو، اردو او پنجابي فلمونو کې کار وکړو. هغه د پښتو او اردو ژبې په ځينو دومره ښو فلمونو کې کار کړى دى چې تر لسيزو لسيزو پورې د خلکو په ذهنونو کې پراته وو.
بدر منير د پښتو فلمونو تر ټولو مشر او ښه اداکار ګڼل کېده. تر يوې زمانې پورې د پښتو فلمونو برياليتوب يواځې د هغه په نوم پورې تړلى و. په کوم فلم کې چې به بدرمنير نه و هغه په سېنماګانو نه کاميابېده. د لاهور په فلمي سټوډيوګانو کې د پښتونخوا د زمري په نوم پېژندل کېده.
خو وروسته د فلمونو کتونکي په دې وجه د هغه د نوم نه بېزاره شول چې هغه تر اخري وخته پورې د هيرو (اتل) په توګه په فلمونو کې راښکاره کېده او دا رول د هغه لپاره مناسب نه ګڼل کېده. په وروستيو وختونو کې د هغه ښه فلمونه هغه وو چې بدرمنير پکې د فلم د اتل د پلار يا تره په توګه راڅرګند شوى و ځکه د هغه د عمر سره دا رول د هغه لپاره ښه جوړېده.
د بدر منير ځوى هم يو ځل په پښتو فلمونو کې راڅرګند شو خو هغه په فلمونو کې د خپل پلار په څېر استعداد نه درلود له دې امله يې فلمونه هم ډېر زر ناکام شول او د هغه نوم د سېنما د سکرين نه پاک شو.
د بدر منير د څو مشهورو فلمونو څخه دا د يادولو وړ دي: يوسف خان شېربانو، ادم خان درخانۍ، علاقه غېر، وربل، ټوپک زما قانون، ديدن، دلهن ايک رات کي (اردو)، د انتقام لمبې، چيخ (اردو)، تربور، بدنام، ګڼ کپ، نيمګړى ارمان او پړانګ.
د بدر منير په مرګ سره د پښتو فلمي نړۍ د يو ښه اداکار او غټ نوم نه بې برخې شوه. د هغه جنازه به هم د خالي په ورځ ماسختن په لاهور کې ادا کېږي.

I have no idea why this buffoon tried touching Badar Munir's (Khudai de obakha) feet. All I can say is "hassay zaan eh shar-ma-wa-lay de". I'm surprised he didn't get stoned inside this hall. Khudai Paak mung Pukhtanno la hidaayat raakee.

By the way, this is information and my opinion for your sake and for all the other Pukhtaana who will read my message.

My message is AFGHANS = PUKHTUNS = AFGHANS. We are Afghans no matter where ....

Mumtaz ur thoughts r mumtaz too as ur name is:) I totally agree wid u that we afghans n the NWFP pashtoons r one family...n I know that pashtoons of pakhtoonkhwa do not touch their elders feet...but why would this one guy do this n I don't know whether he was critizied on Khyber tv or not coz it's not acceptable what he did :-) n ur ryt abt ma name pathan...kho as long as I m pashtana it's OK:)

Our Pukhto is rich and vibrant with beautiful accents. Some accents are like flowers, tender and soft, for example, the Kandahaar accent and some are like crackers and fire works, for example, the Peshawar accent or the Kohaat accent, etc.

Point three: Pathan is a name by which we are known by the non-Pukhto speaking nations, i.e. Panjaabees, Indians, etc. Therefore, you are a PashtannaGirl or a PukhtannaGirl, depending on your accent and not a PathanGirl ........... CONTINUED

I would like to address what you have asked/ discussed in your comment:

Point one: The Pashtuns in the PUKHTUNKHWA (NWFP, as you would like to call it) do NOT touch the feet of the elders like Indians. If this guy does; please do not generalise as this is only an isolated case.

Point two: The Pashtuns from Afghanistan and the Pashtuns from the Pukhtunkhwa are ONE FAMILY. Please do not divide us. We are one people with the same language and culture............ CONTINUED
