This is a boat I built over August and 2 weeks into September just working maybe an hour or two a day on it. It now has the outboard running sweet and planes easily on the water! My first attempt ever at a boat!!

  • In relation to "Aburrido y no enseña nada" this was never supposed to be a "How to" video. Simply a video to show what an ordinary guy with very basic tools can achieve with no plans and a little effort. (nothing more, nothing less). Thanks to all who have viewed this video. I have not been checking to see how many views this has had and I'm shocked to see 16000 views already!

  • Great Job....where did you get the plans, and if you dont mind, how much was the overall cost or an estimate?

  • @xanderpinero This was "scratch built" by that I mean it was built not with any existing plans. My basic sketch was taken from the outline in the shape of a boat laid out in string in my front room! Simply lay out string and measure from the back to front every couple of foot and measure the width of the boat. This is how I determined the size of the ribs. You might check out Spira international for study plans of basic boats. It cost me 240 sterling all in!

  • Good job; especially for a scratch-build with no plans!
