  • Passengers walking around on the tarmac behind an aircraft moving off the stand?? In the prop wash?? I know this is Ireland but still this seems odd practice.

  • its a very small airport with no gates. you just walk through security, out a door and let to the right plane

  • @Great3330 so it's even smaller than Waterford?

  • @smonoco Waterford's runway is slightly longer but for actual airport size I cant compare because I have never been to Waterford

  • Great shots from Galway mister

  • yep the grey cold summer of 2008....

  • I appreciate that, however if some passenger was blown over by prop wash and injured, I wonder who he or she would sue? Usually passengers are not permitted to get into that situation.

  • Ohh... I see the famous Bae-146 there!

  • What I don't line about this airline is the fact they make an additional charge of 5 euros / 5 pounds per flight segment per passenger for using any credit or debit card with the exception of a pre-paid master card. As far as I'm concerned this is dishonest... why not just include the 5 euros in the price of the ticket. There cannot be many ticket purchases made with a pre-paid master card.

  • Would say Aer Araan would be happy about the passengers walking around when the aircraft is taxiing..

    Something bad could seriously happen

  • @Great3330 Waterford is bigger.

Waterford has the aero club, pilot training college and the CHC ireland there.

    The terminal is bigger also..

  • @Great3330 It has 2 gates with a reasonable sized departures lounge.
