His Dark Materials: The Subtle Knife Trailer #2

This is my second attempt at a more realistic and theatrical type trailer for His Dark Materials Part II: The Subtle Knife. Please note, that in no way is this video real. I'm just a huge fan trying to recreate the briliance and epic tale that could have been. I made this video to remind all fans what should have been and how amazing the story Pullman wrote is. I know it's nothing special, but after seeing some other videos similar to this on YouTube I decided to give it a shot. Again, this is the 2nd video I've ever attempted to make so I'm aware of a few minor problems. But I think, and hope that everyone else agrees, that this video is a bit more polished than the previous one. For now, I think I'm happy with what I've accomplished, but if people want me to try again (after all, they'll only get better each time), I would gladly take it into consideration. Please let me know soon though, because the video clips and audio files do take up space on my hard-drive. I won't be deleting them anytime soon, but I can guarantee they won't be their forever. Like last time, I'd still really appreciate feedback. Thanks a lot! And enjoy!

All clips are from the Restored ending of the Golden Compass, found in the video game and at many various other places. Music used was "The Golden Compass" from the Golden Compass soundtrack (composed by Alexandre Desplat), "Iorek Byrnison" also from TGC soundtrack by Desplat, and lastly "False King" by Two Steps to Hell.

its ironic how the chatholic church can stop a trilogy of popular childrens books being made into a movie due to anti-religion but do nothing about catholic priests that think its common place to molest and rape children.

Sam Elliot, stated, "The Catholic Church ... lambasted them, and I think it scared New Line off " this I know is complete bull shit he was trying to use the church as a scape goat as they fucked up big time, Catholic Church never made any comment about this film what-so-ever..... I worked for New Line/Warner as a make-up artist, they waited to long to make the next one, Dakota Blue was older and started filming The Secret of Moonacre it was such a lavish film it would have been to much risk
