Description: This activity in Second Life is part of a Master of Science dissertation project which aimed at promoting the use of MUVEs for learning in the workplace. The activity was build based on the Social Learning Theory of Albert Bandura (1977) and shall support the participants in learning how to apply Second Life to their daily work life. Bandura divides the learning into 3 parts: Observation, Imitation and Behaviour Modelling. Therefore, the participants first observed two example of other companies of how they use Second Life for learning. Then one of the examples was contextualised to the background of the participants (Document Printing) to imitate the observed behaviour. The third activity then was a discussion round were the participants were asked to brainstorm on how they can usethe system -- Second Life --in their daily work life and thus support the behaviour modelling phase of the Social Learning Theory by Bandura (1977).
