  • It seems to be a reccuring trend that NC and his comrades keep getting their Star Trek minutae wrong. I remember the Distressed Watcher claiming that a fire-breathing dragon in space attacking the Enterprise would make no sense, even though the Star Fleet Battles wargame has had a "Space Dragon" monster scenario for at least two decades, to the point where the cover of one of their scenario books prominantly features a Federation cruiser coming under space-dragon attack.

  • Personally i love NC-s videos, just because he was wrong about this particular thing, doesn't means we all have play being Douchie now.

    Well the Klingon Academy theme IS a Hell of a lot more blatant than the references to "Klingon Opera" in TNG and DS9, references I'm not personally surprised many Trekkies missed.

    Yeah, and the Distressed Watcher was wrong about fire-breathing dragons in space attacking the Enterprise (they are, in fact, one of the monster scenarios in the TOS-based tabletop game Star Fleet Battles). That seems to be a theme among Channel Awesome reviewers actually; speculating about something seemingly ridiculous happening in Star Trek, not realising that it already has...
