Utility companies are spraying herbicides to kill vegetation on the power-line right of ways in the Ozarks. The herbicides are getting into streams and people's drinking water. It would be better to mow.
Please help us stop the poisoning of water in the Ozarks. Visit www.grassrootsozark.net .

  • You know,I used to work for a tree service for the power company in Missouri.I was concerned until I did my research. The main ingredient in the herbicide used is salt. The other is equivalent to dish soap. The dish soap is used to make the herbicide stick to the leaves.Herbicides do less damage and waste less energy than actual trimming/mowing.
