@ amidnightskyy they dropped their "pop persona" and went back to their indie rock roots, this is indie rock song and don't you forget it, its not pop music
@loonie1011 it is pop music, this is a common misconception. pop music has such a negative connotation, that it's lost it's true meaning. the beatles, the smiths, even the clash played pop music. indie rock is a vague designation for many current bands, and doesn't aptly describe the bands musical palate. I've heard grizzly bear and beirut described as indie rock. that doesn't make sense
this whole song is pretty good. just as good as their 'Fools' , I guess it depends on your opinion. some may like this one a lil more or the otheres. I always like that random shout they do. and their lyrics and guitar and drums are all lil better than deesent ( not sure if I spelld that rite, LOL) but yeah, I think that even just the awesome wordless music part after 2:47 is fuckin great when it kicks in. and even that chorus might run though my head at some point.
