This week we have a big one for you - Dead Space. With so much hype, the first 45 minutes of this game basically had to be stellar to meet our expectations. Press play for the thrilling conclusion.

This First 45 features Joe and Coop.

At heart, The First 45 is a first impressions video. There's a catch, the impressions we offer are taken solely from the first 45 minutes that we spend playing a game. They say first impressions are the most important, and we feel it is the same with games. If you really aren't pulled into a game within the initial hour, chances are good you won't dig it after that.

There are no exceptions, this is exactly the beginning 45 minutes, from the time we boot up the game. What if the game pulls an MGS and starts with a 30 minute cutscene? That's too bad. We live in a fast pace society, and we don't have time to waste. We just want to play games.

  • after the first 2 chapters its not repetitive, i mean if you completely disregard the storyline you'll be bored to tears, but if you try to pick up on everything you'll notice the smallest bits of the story and piece it together, its really spectacular

  • That would be funny Like in the middle of the game Issac would be seeing a whole hoard of monsters and would be like MOTHERFUCKER HOW MANY OF YOU ARE THERE!!!

  • ditto :)

  • this is the first video ive watched from you guys

and the first thing i did when it was over was subscribe.

everything about this video was perfect, thanks and keep it up!!!!

  • So true I LOVE THIS GAME, but I also loved Bioshock, either way Rapture and the Ishimura seemed to have a huge rule in the overall scare factor, regardless i've beaten both like 20 times, but honestly there were about 2 events in the entire game Deadspace that kind of scared me, but both were pretty small jerks of the neck rather than shrieks of horror.

  • cool

  • Nice.
