Giant Leopard Gecko

My Giant Leopard Gecko is almost 12'' in length!

I'm not sure if he was bred a giant or just ended up as one but he is at the top end of the largest Leopard Gecko's.

The world record for a Leopard Gecko is 11.5'' I have read and mine is just over 11'' but I can't get a measurement of him fully stretched out, anyway he has gotta be one of the biggest here on Youtube.

I love how the set up looks better for a crested or gargoyle gecko... -.-

But honestly, that does seem to be a pretty long gecko. Lean but not unhealthy.. definitely a looker.

@ShenziSixaxis Thankyou, he passed away later that year, really heartbreaking.

Had his final measurements at 11.2" so not quite 12, he was 5 years old but bought as a sub adult (he wasn't near old aged though).

I believe his cause of death was a disease passed on from the other gecko that died which I had only owned a few months.

Really saddening.

@whiteyr44 Sorry he was 8 and my oldest female died at 11-12 years old.

I now have 2 geckos and i'm hoping to pick up a true bred giant at some point.

Dude mine is about 19".. And my Leopard gecko is about 8"

@whiteyr44 They climb this setup everyday to get to the heat lamp, so they have no problems using it, they can also use the backdrop to climb up aswell!
