  • Hi DollGirlie.

It is from Ponta Delgada, not from Furnas. Azores is worth for visit, truly.

  • this is the town and island of my Dad's parents...... it's so beautiful

So nice to read this. Thank You commenting and visiting here.

  • is it expensive there?

  • @bicepsca

Hello. Not so specially. All imported thing might be. Regards.

  • Pretty photos, but the music doesn't belong to Açores and much less Portuguese, it is from Columbia that is in the central part of the American continent.

Ponta Delgada is in São Miguel's Island, in Açores.

  • Hello.

I knew that, but I did not had music from Açores. Anyway, the place is fantastic!

  • Tourists are going to destroy the azores, the EU is already destroying it! Fight for a Free Portugal.

Azores is the only islands in the world still mostly untouched by tourism. Keep it natural and pure!

  • Just back from here and tried to get into the English cemetery but it sadly was locked. Anyone got any photos of it? We tried to get some through the iron gates but not very successful.

  • Is the image at 2.25 from Furnas botanical gardens? I plan on flying to Ponta Delgada from Canada by the end summer.

  • @Justusosaa

no thanks needed.....my Dad's parents emigrated from Sao Miguel, near Ponta Delgada...I think Sao Miguel is the prettiest place I've ever been !

  • the new and improved immigration laws. i dislike the fact foreigner are now living in the islands.

  • @bicepsca its not so expensive, the food is good and they serve in big quantaties in some places, if you want to eat good and have lots of fun go to Furnas.I am from Ponta Delgada and there its also very nice.
