President Barack Obama said during a press conference that police acted "stupidly" in the arrest of prominent black scholar Henry Louis Gates Jr. and despite racial progress blacks and Hispanics are still singled out unfairly for arrest. (July 22)

The President of the United States of America has no business commenting on any crimes, nor should any other elected officials comment! He and they are aprised of the situation, and should be left to the criminal justice system to handle. While the world goes mad, and Leaders focus on World issues, our "Leader" involves himself in things he was not elected to do. It's not about your opinions, Mr. Obama. Why use the word "nigger" twice if not to prove you hate blacks? That being the case, who the fuck wants to listen to your racist spiel? Assuming you're white: no, police officers arent "usually nice" with minorities. I was arrested and thrown in jail for driving 60mph on a 40mph road. In jail I was told "you had it coming", "suck it up", and "that's what you get for..." (the person didn't know what I was in for). Law enforcement presume minorities are criminals; profiling statistics show it.
