hi captain ben. i went fishing for them and caught a 300 pounder. i started working out so i could stand a chance but i still needed help. since then i fell in love with them. i'm planning on moving to southwest florida after high school. and would you need a first mate for the summer.

dude, yeahright825 is right, and you're wrong. not only is jewfish nice light meat like any other grouper, but it tastes much better in my opinion. if you said that the meat was dark and didn't taste good, then u didn't eat a jewfish, that's for sure. i really wished they opened the season back on them, because i would love to eat one now and then. it's SO good! and i KNOW capt. ben would agree with us, and disagree with u.

I don't know what you call a Jewfish then because Jewfish do NOT have dark meat! It looks like any other grouper meat. It's white, ESPECIALLY one that's only 24 inches. Right Capt. Ben?
