strat definitely has alot more clarity, and the les paul is alot fatter heavier sounding. both amazing in their own ways, but honestly if i had to pick one. its a strat for me

personally i feel like the strat's tone is a little too thin.. imo.. i like my guitar sound thick, warm, round, and more full and i feel like the strat sounds a bit "tinny" to my ears..
