Now that's what happens when you train officers properly. The guy is dressed professionally and is being very polite and reasonable. I wish all police officers were of the same caliber!

The Lt was correct, yes the man does have 2nd amendment rights, however, if you walk into my private property, my property rights do give me the right to disallow you from having a fire arm on my property. This is also so on city or state owned property, such as a school, where the local municipality does have the right to disallow you from bringing fire arms onto. Look carefully at the 10th amendment in conjunction with the 2nd.

I'm all for the 2nd amendment and open carry but you do have to understand the not allowing guns on school property. It is a school. Plus the police officer seemed like a good guy. Wanted to help the guy out and whatnot.qa

How old do you have to be to get an open carry permit in NH? If it's 18, then would it be ok for seniors who are 18 years of age to bring weapons to school every day?

you can open carry at 18 but can't buy a gun until you 21.
