  • I Thought NSSR Speed Circuit Was Thee Official Snowmobile Speed Record Organization. I Read About It Every Year In Northern Minnesota. I Think It Is 1/4 Mile Long. Even 440's run 130 mph At NSSR In The U.S. - If You Are Just Up From Toronto, You Are Way South Of My Location, Up Here On Lake Superior. New Top Speeds Are Approaching 180 mph In The Big Classes Of NSSR. Lol

  • @coolriff747

No. NSSR is 1000ft. NBSSR is currently 2000ft. Due to insurance policies and whatnot they have downsized to 1320ft 1/4mile for next season. The new track record was set at the last race this season. 191.8MPH. They were supposed to have a Guiness world record run the next weekend but weather did not permit. 200MPH was the goal. I am about 2-1/2 3 hrs north of Toronto. Roughly parallel with the U.P. of Michigan, Maine etc....

  • Where's North Bay - Is That In Canada ? Lake Superior North Side ? I'm Lost.

  • @coolriff747

Ontario, Canada on the east shore of Lake Nipissing. A couple hours west of Ottawa and a couple hours north of Toronto. It's the place were snowmobile speed records are made and broken.

  • Thanx Netefrog - There Was Very Few Yamaha's At The Munising Sno-Show Ice Drags, Radar Run & Vintage Show - Maybe You Can Bring Your Yamy Buddies For Next Years Event ? Kenny

  • @coolriff747

Sure, why not. You bring the beers and we'll be there. Why don't you come up to North Bay for the NBSSR speed runs next year, everything will be 1/4mile.

  • Thanx For The Info - Your Right On Top Of It ! With That Said, I Have Mucho Respect For Knowledge & Speed, Because Thats What It Takes. I Live With My Mother, So My Talent Lies With Making Sleds Run With No Money. All Of The Sleds You See On My Channel Were Less Than 1000 Dollars To Build. My F-III 700 I Bought For 200 Bucks, Under A Guy's Pine Tree, Motor Blown. Now Its In A Class All Its Own. Good Luck & Thanx For The Knowledge. Lol Kenny

  • @coolriff747

After 46 years if your sleds didn't run great I would say it is time to pack it in. lol. But they do, so youre doing something right.

  • Thanx NeteFrog For Putting Up With My Arrogant Way's - Sorry To Be Mean. I Must Take Another Hit Of My Medicine ? Laugh - I Really Did Have A Descent Winter, All My Sled Projects Ran Great. Hours Turn To Days, Day's Turn To Months, I've Been Working On Sleds For 46 Years. They Should Run After 40yrs. Of Clutching. Lol Kenny

  • @coolriff747

Not my sled. This is a buddy who bought a sled that was already worked over and put away wet. lol. And yeah, with the Bender pipes, Bender 835cc big bore, and Peak heads he is still only reving stock 8500RPM full shift. I told him to take some weight out of flyweight and rev higher, but he wont. Those are big bore pipes. They want to scream arond 9000rpm.
