  • hmm this looks good except I'll use caramel (cuz it's sitting in my fridge) and Honey Bunches of Oats cereal w/almonds - cuz thats all I have and no pecans:(

we'll see how it comes out lol! Thanks for the yummy idea:)

  • @boriebell sounds like a great combination! And that's what it's all about... using the recipes as a guideline. Twisting them to suit you and making use of what you have!

  • Can you make this with canned pears?

  • @xFABKRIS Yep, they already tend to be quite soft, so you probably won't need to bake them without the topping first though. :D

  • I'm not big on pears. I'm assuming I can use apples instead? What other fruit does this work for?

  • @peachmelba73 Anything that will hold its shape when baked. Apples are perfect.

  • Is this where the "Nice Ripe Pear" poster originated?

  • because in canada we include maple syrup in every meal......

  • that motion with the knife is called "milling" what you did was use the knife to "mill" the pecans

  • here in cananda we call it canadian water not maple syrup

  • I didn't have pears so I used apples, and Life cereal and Oats. It was delish!! (:

  • I really think you should have more pear recipes in the future.... Meanwhile, this looks delicious!

  • can you make some Arabian food ,, ?

  • I WANT FOOODDDDD!!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha. you quoted the poster!

  • that looks like corn syrup, not maple syrup. i have never seen the real stuff that thick.
