dont forget that amazing jab he had, and that long arm reach. mayweather was smart in picking on a 34 year old de la hoya which mayweather bearly made it out with a split decision

oscar is one of my heros in boxing, ill always admire his heart, a true champion.

Oscar De La Hoya is undoubtedly an all time great! Fact.
Unlike many of the modern fighters we see today Oscar never ducked anyone - he always looked to fight the best.
In his prime he had it all speed, power and a deadly left hook - and don't forget his underrated granite chin. Lets not remember him for his last two losses towards the end of his careers (to the very best) but as a great warrior who always stood toe-toe!
p.s. I think a prime De La Hoya would take out Pacman
