Do you people really remember these stores? They had a HUGE selection of leather, with Payless coming in with plastic, man made crap. Fayva carried great pumps, stilettos, leather boots, from ankle to knee, kids, tennis shoes, all at a reasonable price. Then Payless came out, and charged less for shoes that fell apart right away. The shoes in the ad were popular, at that point in time. They carried name brands. The ads were cheesy-the shoes were not.

I hate to admit this, but I would actually wear those heeled oxfords. The handbags at the end, too.

WOW that brings back memories!!! My mother used to take me to Fayva's and I didnt like their old lady looking shoes, next stop was Thom Mccans or National shoes store. Thanks for the memories

UGH! I remember Fayva. Made Payless look like Saks Fifth Avenue.
