Yuna Ito (伊藤由奈) est née le 20 septembre 1983 à Los Angeles, mais elle a vécu a Hawai. Son père est japonais et sa mère est américaine-coreenne. Yuna parle américain couramment, et elle a appris le japonais à l'école. Durant son enfance, elle aimait chanter les chansons de Mariah Carey.
Yuna participe à des concours de chant à Hawai, dont un qu'elle remporte en interprétant "Genie In A Bottle" de Christina Aguilera; elle acquiert donc une petite popularité là-bas. Elle réussit ensuite à être en contact avec Sony, qui l'envoie faire carrière au Japon, puisqu'elle a des origines japonaises et qu'elle pratique la langue.
Yuna Ito (伊藤由奈) was born September 20, 1983 in Los Angeles but has lived in Hawaii. His father is Japanese and her mother is Korean American. Yuna speaks fluent American, and she learned Japanese at school. During her childhood she loved to sing songs by Mariah Carey.
Yuna part in singing contests in Hawaii, where she won a performing "Genie In A Bottle" for Christina Aguilera, so she acquires a little popularity there. She then managed to be in contact with Sony, which sends a career in Japan, since its origins and its practice Japanese language.
