But even if Raymond was not in the bedroom when Kane died, a few hours before his death, Kane destroyed Susan's room and uttered, "Rosebud" while Raymond clearly stood there and heard him say that.

So, in both scenarios, Raymond heard him say "Rosebud" and in both scenarios, according to him, that was his last word.

So Raymond just sits there by the dead Kane, with the ball breaking, until that chick enters the room, finds out Kane is dead and then covers him?
