  • The stack has been press-fitted,so when you drill from the top,the stack will follow the drill after a while, and make some of the paint come loose from the boiler.(Then you learn) Any way, it went well for my engine. Now it huffs and puffs smoke around my layout! I must admit i was a little bit chaky when i did this job...Greetings from Norway !

  • Hello! I got the same engine. One day i wanted to put a smoke-generator from seuthe in the stack ,by drilling a hole from the top of the stack. I dont remember at the moment the if i used a 5 mm drill.Any way, the hole should be the same as the smoke-generator needed. If you lock inside the boiler, you can see they have made space for the generator. After some drilling, the hole stack came loose. It had been mounted separately, punched down in the boiler. How could i know? it is easier to push it out..
