In this video I give a full in depth tour of the 2011 Toyota Prius hybrid. I take viewers on a close look through the interior and exterior of this car while showing details, over viewing of features, and noting unique styling cues to the vehicle itself. I also show the engine and the details of it, start it up and see how it sounds under acceleration. A thorough tour/review of this car designed to give others a greater overall appreciation of the vehicle.

  • In addition, the torque provided by the larger electric motor is available at all speeds, so acceleration at highway speeds is much better than many family sedans.

  • 0-60 times, measured by the reviewers, is done by revving the engine and the popping the clutch (or the automatic equivalent) accompanied by squealing tires and burning rubber. The Prius won't let the driver do silly juvenile stuff like that so the 0-60 times show up a few seconds longer. In practice the Prius has the similar acceleration as a vehicle that shows up as being two or three seconds faster in the reviews because no one drives like they do in a 0-60 test.

  • When people say it's slow or uncomfortable, that's their opinion. Sadly enough, you notice how most Prius drivers are all super old? It's because it's comfortable, and really smooth and quiet. That's why they like it. Some people, it doesn't rub the right way which is fine, but don't bash it just because YOU don't like it. My mom had a really bad car, but I don't watch videos about her car and troll on them. If someone asks me, I'll tell what I think and our experience with it.

  • Don't take any comments on here to heart and listen to it like it's the gospel. I'm 17 years old, I've been driving a Prius since I was 15. I have driven a bunch of other cars too, but I like my Prius because I can actually afford to drive it. It gives me freedom that no other car can do, and I'm grateful for that. I love the car, it's not fun to drive on a race track, but none of my driving is done on a race track. It's fun and comfortable enough for me in real traffic & conditions.

  • @emdec55 My neighbors laugh at the thought of global warming, they watch fox news, and their about as republican as they come, but they have a Prius they've had since it was new in 2004 with 140,000 miles. They even have a sticker in the back that says "GLOBAL WARMING HOAX" Maybe some people buy the Prius because they like it? That's why I bought mine.

  • at 40mpg, i would get one no matter how shitty all of you say it is

  • Ohhh, the thud from the doors closing....oh..wait...

  • i recently bought a fiat 500c Lounge and it gave me munch more power and pick up then my 3rd gen prius
