me trying to sweep cleanly and failing at 140bpm with some crappy progression i made up but which sounds familiar

sorry, haven't been checking youtube much for a while so i've only just seen this.

I learned to use the pick properly first. Its basically a series of rest-strokes up and down. Do them as slow as you can stand without a metronome. Then I just found the right arpeggio shapes on the net on free guitar lesson websites.

Hope that helps a little. I may upload a lesson on it in a few months, though by then you may have got it figured out.
