Senior Living Community Partners with Nevada Cancer Institute to Present Information on Being Healthy, Wealthy and Wise

LAS VEGAS — Las Ventanas, Nevadas only continuing care retirement community, is partnering with the Nevada Cancer Institute to present a FREE series of educational lectures open to the community for those interested in learning more about lifestyle and medical issues facing seniors.

The Healthy, Wealthy and Wise lecture series will be held every Tuesday beginning April 14, 2009 through April 28, 2009.

The Healthy, Wealthy and Wise schedule is as follows:

April 14th at 3 p.m. Healthy Lifestyles




April 21st at 3:30 p.m. Risk Reduction and Early Detection
April 28th at 3 p.m. Stress Less

All lectures last approximately 40 minutes and will be held inside the Tuscany Room at Las Ventanas at 10401 W. Charleston Blvd., Las Vegas, Nevada, 89135. Complimentary light refreshments will be served.

Las Ventanas strives to serve its residents as well as the senior community of Southern Nevada. The purpose of this lecture series is to offer the community the latest information about medical and lifestyle issues facing seniors from experts in the field.
