i have since discovered that you can use two 16" circulars for the te entire sock....but thanks for the feedback!

Thanks for posting this video. I am trying to make a pair of socks for the first time and this really helps me out. I was thinking about going to a yarn shop and asking the girls their for help, but now I don't have to embarrass myself. Thanks a whole lot!

you couldnt, because when you have to work a certain part of it, for example the heel (which is in this video), you wouldnt be able to do it, since it's a circular needle..

You would probably have to use the magic loop method in order to do that. Most circular needles are not small enough in length to do so.

i've discovered that cat bordhi uses two circulars for socks....but thanks for the reply.
