  • All your vids uprated 5 stars each my fellow votebotted friend. I got nailed yesterday which makes it my second time being hit. Best wishes on you getting your vids back to where they were.

  • Thanks, I'll be sure to rate yours.

  • Went through and up rated... do I get a cookie?

  • Indeed.

  • So are you trying to argue that the universe is holographic in nature? (nice vid)

  • I just think self-awareness is a constituent property of the universe that exists in different ways through different kinds of language. I like to call consciousness the twelfth dimension of reality.

  • what is the music?

  • @hayotro So.. there is no stage that would be in "a mind" displaying images, thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc...while some sort of "I" observes, analyses, chooses to express or not them in words.Language does not "express" internal thoughts. What is said (or written) IS the thought. Nothing is hidden behind it. We don't have internal thoughts in some misterious form and then "translate" them into language. W. said: "Nothing is hidden, all is exposed to view" (except when not voiced or written)

  • @hayotro The PI has 2 biggies: 1) LANGUAGE is NOT a picture of the world, using words. Language consists of a series of different "games" we play with words. Their meaning is not absolute but given by its use in different "games"."Water!" may be used to express thirst in a certain language game. "Water!" may be a call to bring it to set out a fire in a different language game. The simple sign is dead and serves no purpose, unless part of a language game. 2) MIND is NOT a stage where...

  • @hayotro

I don't understand how people still take the TLP as "current", even though W. embarassed renegaded it as a disease of the mind, like all philosophy otherwise. I find it stimulating and genius in its own merit. It meant to be recognized as non-sense by those who understood it. As if the non-sense had to be expressed just to be recognized as such. "The world is made of facts not things" is so sexy and cool, but total non-sense. Maybe like everything else that is sexy and cool! Cool.

  • @openmindset Yes, I've read the TLP, and I'm reading now The investigations. :D Personally, I don't like him that much we could say... But i've to studied it because the university.

  • @jcrebel18 meaning a disease of the mind, according to Wittgenstein.

  • @hayotro good for Wittgenstein to be dead not running the risk of coming accross such statement about such crap. Have you ever read Wittgenstein? I mean Wittgenstein, not something about Wittgenstein. Hope not or you would be a lost case.

  • Nice way to show L. Wittgenstein filosophy.
