This was recorded at Newport, 2 years before Georgie Fame's version. It includes Coleman Hawkins and Clark Terry. Yolande Bavan replaced Annie Ross about a year before this date.

@cocolaite This is recorded live at Newport. I bought the LP when I was young, back in the 60s. And it's L, H and BAVAN! - NO DOUBT ABOUT IT:

Thanks, my dad was married to Yolande Bavan while he was stationed in London. I haven't known her name, etc. for long, so your post is fascinating and appreciated. Look forward to sharing with my peeps.

You're right about the pic, but that's definitely Yolande Bavan on this recording.

The pic I dont know but the voice is definitely Bavan, I've got the album, exact same version of the song and it says Bavan. So hot, luv it!

This is Lambert Hendricks and Ross.

Wrong. Ross leave the band in 1962, Yolande Bavan replaced her, and they write lyrics for this song in 1963. You can check on wikipedia and discogs.
