This is a Martin Yale Confidential micro cut paper shredder. It is a military grade level 4 - 5 shredder and as you can see it shreds paper to very small particles of 2x8mm.

It will also accept staples and paper clips.

There is a seperate slot for CDs, DVDs and credit cards, these are strip cut into 23mm slices with milled edges. The strips drop into a seperate container concealed within the main bin.

It runs quiet and smooth it can take upto 8 sheets of paper at a time, it can run for 15 minutes before it needs to rest to cool.

Also I often feed a sheet of A4 paper into it that has been covered in shredder oil to help maintain its sharp cutting drums from getting clogged and blunted.

The shredded paper is impossible to reassemble, as once it goes through thats it...its gone for good...pulverized to resembling nothing more than fluff.

In this day and age of identity theft / fraud every letter, every document I no longer need gets fed into my ever hungry shredder.

The TOTAL death of documents mwuhahaha...

The Martin Yale Confidential Micro Cut Shredder costs around $285 but well worth it for the high security it offers.
