This was suspiciously timed for McCain's unusual visit to Colombia...reminds me of when Iran, after being sold arms by Reagan, suddenly released the 400 some-odd hostages that were held for over a year, only after Reagan was elected.
Another political scandal, if you ask me.
Seems they could have been released at any time, but conveniently for the war-mongerer.

A great victory for a good man President Uribe, a great day for Colombia and a real shitty day for Hugo Chavez,FARC and its european supporters. This rescue is a huge bow to Chavez. My guess is that the computers found during the raid into ecuador revelaed a lot of intell about Chavez and Farc. I am sure the US Government was also involved. Boo Hoo Hoo leftists
