terrible, the only thing that came out correct was the top and sides of the head, but its ok because it is not a show dog, which means that ANY kind of haircut is acceptable. the whole purpose of thinning shears is to lessen the likelihood of leaving lines in a coat that don't belong there, which as you can see DID happen! this is an incorrect use of thinning shears devoid of technique.
I've been thinking about learning to groom my Wheaten, but this is beyond my capability. He seems to enjoy his trips to the groomer anyway, and she does such a fantastic job with him and my bichon both.
wow, i wish my softy was this patient! I noticed really early that mine hated being groomed, but the breeder said she would get used to it. Now, she's 8 years old, and still runs away when I take out the brush, haha.
Very nice. Great tips! My wife started grooming our Wheaton and I am very happy with the job she is doing and the money we are saving. We have found if you invest in the proper equipment, it pays for itself very fast.
Great looking Wheatean!!!
