@Patchman123 Punjabis are an ethnic group defined by language and region of origin. Hindus follow a religion. There are Muslim, Sikh and Hindu Punjabis and they live on both sides of the border. Urdu, the most important language of Pakistan, and Hindi, the most important language of India, are essentially the same language with different alphabets, just like Serbian and Croatian.

@Patchman123 hey, I agree with the most you said, especially the fact that Serbs and Croats are ONE nation with 2 names. Read my profile and you'll see what I am talking about. Saying that these guys are like Serbs and Croats was an absolutely metaphorical remark, knownig the political issues that these 2 groups of Indo-Iranians had through the history, which is in a way similar to those that Serbs (Orthodox) and Croats (Catholics) in ex-Yugoslavia had in the past. Nothing else.

No they are not because Serbs and Croats speak the same language and are the same race. They are not the same as Serbs and Croats at all. Serbs and Croats never close their borders like these guys do. Serbs and Croats do not have nuclear weapons. Punjabis and Hindus are different groups with different languages and Serbs and Croats have their borders clearly defined and those are small groups of nationalists, not whole governments like over in India and Pakistan.
