God this brings back some good memories. Dick Von Hoene was my very first Role Model. I always wanted to grow up & be just like him! CAREFUL WHAT U WISH FOR. 'Cause I am trying everyday to reflect all the magnificence that was the Cool Ghoul! I still to this day often reflect on his un- Holy teachings to get me through it. RIP Cool (tee hee. Those of us that really know him just call him 'Cool'). I can't wait 'till I see u in Heaven!
Thanks for this memory. I grew up in a very small town in Kentucky (Flemingsburg) which is about 90 miles east of Cincinnati and in the early 1970's our area finally got access to WXIX and I was a faithful EVERY night viewer of the Cool Ghoul and his double feature horror offerings. I would park myself (armed with abundant junk food) in front of the TV on Saturday night at 7pm and not get up again until the show ended at 11pm ---great piece of nostalgia.

Me too! Unfortunately it was not on the LP either. Sounds a bit like Boot Randolph...

What was the name of the Cool Ghoul's theme song? Heard here at 41 seconds. I've been trying to find that song for years.
