HAHA .. This is me again... HOLY CRAP!!! i think i left my chair and hit the ceiling when u yelled Romans!!! JEEZE!! ... is there any way to do multiplayer on Civ II ?? it would be hard to do but it would be fun..

Yeah it's possible I never played on a level higher than the second easiest though. You can either gear your strategy for war or the space race...its up to you.

is it possible to acctualy destroy ALL the civs in a 7 civ game? it takes so long to take over a cite! any advice to give me?

I didn't like III or IV nearly as much to be honest, but V might change my mind on the sequels. To me, that's the best part of the series.
Also, the gold edition of Civ II is indeed multiplayer. I tried a multiplayer game once but it takes forever, especially if the other people you play with are slow.
