He claims the policy introduced by Mayor Kathy Taylor allowing Tulsa Police to check the immigration status ONLY of those arrested FOR A FELONY is a 'Sanctuary City' tactic. He states that immigration status checks should be run on ANYONE arrested and booked into jail, all Misdemeanors AND Felonies. The City Councilors agreed and passed such a resolution with a 6-3 vote.

I was in law enforcement with Dan. In no way did he speak one racist word. As a citizen of the United States. Anyone who is here illegally is in a large part responsible for this countries economic problem and unemployment rate.

Not sure why illegal immigration is even a subject of debate! which country on earth, including Mexico, where a citizen of another country can just sneak into without consent, and claim the right to stay? The ground is a very basic concept of sovereignty .German doesn't let illegal Dutch Immigrants stay, Mexico doesn't let illegal El Savadorian or African immigrants stay, Korea doesn't let illegal Chinese immigrants stay.
