I'm surprised that the crew was still operating this train. Any UP rule book or timetable says for the crew to park the train and seek shelter either in the nose of the cab or somewhere else suitable. I'm shocked that dispatch didn't notify the crew and the fact that the crew didn't see the funnel cloud, although they can sneak up on you.

Could you imagine being in that cab, seeing the hopper just tilt, the flip, then suddenly HOLY ****! There's a tank car charging at the stopped locomotive.

I am not sure if it is an illusion, but it looks like after the tank car and NS box car collide with the locomotive that the trailing truck of the engine derails toward the left side of the tracks. Incredible footage!
