Cockatiel Mating (or Playing)

They do that everyday and it does not work. Margarita the Lutino famale goes on Roméo the White Face male. I guess its not really mating at this point but more playing and she just wants to get sensations.

@jackxtremexl Its actually more yellow. Different tones of yellow and some places very pale that it is almost white. The yellow/white Cockatiels are called Lutions. Its a her BTW. Margarita is her name.

they are not actually mating, when they do the female will lift her tale to the side to allow access to her vent, then the male will tuck his tail under and rub his vent against hers

Jean2291, theyre not mating or gay! Theyre just playing. (thank god!) But you can only tell a birds gender until its had its 2nd molt. That whiteface had its 2nd molt already so most ppl can tell wut gender it is. ;)
