  • Superb ~~ I don't know any of these people and would need a guide to tell who was who, but loved it all. hmmm, looking at my handy "guide" on the side of my screen I can tell who some are, so I can comment that Jaroussky has a lovely voice and I could listen to a lot of him ~~ but I can't tell his voice isn't a beautiful female! [usually I can tell the diff]. Cencic, on the other hand, I am definitely going to check out further! OMG, what a talent!! What a VOICE~~

  • A lot of gay men who see him on YouTube want him.

Phil swings that way, too, as I was discovering.

  • @dark999crow You mean yes he is? So where did he appear, I didn't seem to see him hmm.

  • @marconiusrex24 you must've found out by now, anyway, this concert performance casts exactly the same singers as the 2009 recording & in the same roles: the title role is sung by flawless Cencic in both. Btw, I couldn't agree more about Jaroussky: great performer and unmistakable voice but has to be taken in little doses, unlike Cencic, whose Rossini and Handel compilations I've been wearing out, not to mention the complete recordings of Handel operas that he stars in, such as this one!
