so beautiful!!!!!!!!

I agree that its very well done and the choir is excellent... but Sandtroem is rubbish. The arrangement starts right after the climax of the Purcell replacing the best harmonic moment and moving into a poor imitation which adds absolutely nothing to the original.

Nice version. Too bad the sound is so low... You can't hear the low C in the final chord; hell you can't even hear the last chord!
I love the last 30 secs of this song, how the song changes from the difficult middle section to this beautiful powerful ending.

It's supposed to sound like that...
-
Nope, it's Sven-David Sandström :)

this isn't a college choir. it's a high school choir. and the "awful" part you're referring to is a series of extremely difficult dips, trills, etc. which are specific and are executed flawlessly here.

This started fine and indeed for a college choir it has some very good interpretation but what the hell is the music after the Purcell part about - it is just awful - makes them sound like they have no idea what they're singing!!! Ditch it!!!!

this is arrangement by jan sandstrom

What the hell happened at the end of the Purcell section? The men seemed to forget where they were. Oh well.
This is not the original, is it? Purcell's version is shorter...
Anyway, good job.
